Love produces joy when it is communicated correctly and willingly received. God demonstrated this perfectly by communicating His love through both His Word and His actions, ultimately giving His Son for us. In the same way, our words must be supported by actions that demonstrate genuine love to others. Even correctly communicated love cannot produce its intended joy when the other person is unwilling to receive it. Healthy relationships require both people to communicate and receive love in ways that can be understood and experienced. When right communication is consistently joined with right actions and received with an open heart, love can produce lasting joy.
