Busyness, misplaced priorities, and excuses can distract us from the relationship that should come first. As we partner with Christ, His love should become evident in the way we love and serve others. God’s Word and promises are greater than any problem or excuse we face. Make fellowship with Jesus a priority and allow your partnership with Him to shape every area of your life.

Jesus has called, equipped, and sent us to represent Him wherever we go. As ambassadors for Christ, our identity must be rooted in Him rather than in people or things that can never meet the needs only Jesus can fulfill. When we lose sight of our identity in Christ, we can also lose focus on the power and purpose He has given us. Looking inward and becoming distracted can keep us from fulfilling the calling God has placed on our lives. As our spirit lines up with the Holy Spirit, we receive the power and authority needed to represent Jesus to the world. Remember who you are in Christ, depend completely on Him, and faithfully go where He sends you.

The Christian life includes spiritual battles, so we must be prepared to stand strong in the Lord and in His power. The enemy wants to create distance between us and God, but God is continually loving, convicting, cleansing, comforting, and commissioning us. We are not called to fight these battles in our own strength or treat people as the enemy. Instead, we fight spiritually with the Sword of God’s Word and through prayer. As we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, Scripture promises that the enemy will flee. No matter how great the battle may seem, Jesus is greater, so put on the armor of God and be ready for the fight.

God’s peace and power are not found in the absence of problems but in trusting Him through the problems and pain we face. Peace was planned by the Father, purchased by the Son, and provided by the Spirit. As we become totally dependent on God and trust His promises, purpose, and plan, His peace can guard our hearts and minds. God has also called us to represent Christ, serving others and showing them how they can experience His peace. We are not only saved from something; we are saved for a life of service and purpose. Depend completely on Christ, accept His calling, and allow His peace and power to work through you in every situation.

God desires for us to draw near to Him, hear His voice, and experience the peace that comes from depending completely on Christ. One of the primary ways God speaks is through His living and powerful Word, which reveals what is happening within our hearts. Prayer also requires us to become still and quiet enough to listen instead of always speaking. God can also speak through special moments in church and during seasons of pain and sorrow when we desperately seek Him. Our difficult moments can become opportunities to draw closer to His presence and depend more completely on Him. Open your heart to God’s Word, become still before Him, and trust that He will meet you as you seek His presence.

Through Jesus Christ, we have been redeemed and given access to every spiritual blessing God has for His children. God desires not only to bless us but also to use our lives to become a blessing to others. Instead of living in the past, we should learn from it and allow God to continually transform us into who He has called us to be. Our words, choices, and actions matter because we eventually reap what we consistently sow. No matter what problems we face, God’s Word obeyed and applied is always more powerful than our circumstances. Examine the areas where you feel you are lacking God’s blessings and begin trusting, speaking, and applying His Word to those areas.

Financial blessing begins with recognizing that God is the source of everything we have and gives us the ability to produce wealth. The financial habits we practice consistently can greatly influence what we experience over time, because we eventually reap what we sow. Honoring God first through tithing, saving faithfully, living within our means, and understanding the difference between good and bad debt can help us become wise stewards. God wants us to plan our spending instead of allowing our money to control us. Faithful giving and wise financial habits position us to use what God provides according to His purpose. Examine your financial habits today and ask God what needs to change so you can honor Him with everything He has entrusted to you.

God demonstrated His perfect loyalty and love by sending Jesus to give His life for us. Our loyalty to Christ should lead us to live boldly for Him, never being ashamed of who He is or what His Word teaches. The direction of our loyalty can greatly influence the direction and destiny of our lives. Even when we have experienced seasons of loss, God promises that He can restore what has been taken and redeem the years that seem wasted.
