“If you love me, obey me; and I will ask the Father and he will give you another Comforter, and he will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit who leads into all truth. The world at large cannot receive him, for it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you do, for he lives with you now and some day shall be in you. John 14:16-17

What we need most when we are hurting, fearful,
discouraged, and confused is to be COMFORTED. When Jesus ascended back to heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit down to every Christian—when you get saved, the Holy Spirit comes and lives in you!

The Holy Spirit wants to comort you, help you, guide you, strengthen you, and lead you to the Truth! The Holy Spirit’s comfort comes as we learn the Truth from God’s Word about how to handle the situation and circumstances.

What area in your life do you need comfort and direction? Would you ask the Holy Spirit to direct you to God’s Word for answers you need?

God’s Word has a promise for your problem and the Holy Spirit wants to lead you to it and allow that promise to bring PEACE.
