Proverbs 31:10-11, NIV “A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.”
Mothers and wives are valuable and matter. Mothers matter to their children.
Proverbs 1:8 “Listen, my child, to what your father teaches you. Don’t neglect your mother’s teaching.”
The problem today is that young people are neglecting the teaching of their mothers because they are listening to the world. Would you like to be blessed as a young person? Stop ignoring the instructions of your mothers. Learn to draw out her teachings.
Proverbs 20:5, NLT2 “Though good advice lies deep within her heart, a person with understanding will draw it out.”
Ephesians 6:1-3, NKJV “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.”
Obeying your parents is not an option; this is a command. You have the opportunity to choose; you don’t have the option to choose the outcome. If you want your life to go better and longer on earth, you will follow your mother’s teachings and obey your parents.
