Leadership Pain Summary

• The longer I avoid a problem the bigger the problem gets.
• Pain is part of the progress.
• Often the difference between where I am and where God wants me to be is the pain I’m willing to endure.
• God is always faithful.
• Growth=Change; Change=Loss; Loss= Pain (Growth=Pain)
• You’ll only grow to your threshold of pain.
• If you want to grow you have to learn to raise your threshold of pain.
• If you want your organization or church to grow you have to help them raise and understand their threshold of pain must grow.
• To go where I believe God wants us to, it will take quality, capable, and faithful, ladder holders.
• Learn that pain can be your friend, not your enemy.
• Leadership is brutal and beautiful.
• Everything rises and falls on leadership.
