Do You have the Word or the World as Your Ultimate Authority?

1 Corinthians 14:33, NKJV “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.”

Jesus does not want chaos, he wants calmness. 

 

John 1:1, NKJV “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The Word has to be the Authority, not the world. 

 

"The more of God’s Word you know, the more of God’s will you know."

 

4 Reasons God’s Word is the Ultimate Authority:

  1. God cannot lie.
  2. God’s Word will not change.
  3. God’s Word is alive and powerful.
  4. God will never leave you.

 

Hebrews 4:12, NKJV “For the Word of God is living and powerful…”

The Word of God is alive and powerful. It’s powerful enough to take care of your greatest and most profound need. Plug into the promises that produce power.
