Luke 1:28 (NKJV) “And having come in, the angel said to her, ‘Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!’” Luke 1:42-44 (NKJV) Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, ‘Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!’ But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
Psalms 5:12 (NKJV) “For You, O Lord will bless the righteous; with favor, You will surround him as with a shield.” Proverbs 14:9 (NKJV) “Fools mock at sin, But among the upright there is favor.” Today is an excellent time to be reminded what the favor of God is: The favor of God is when God takes the natural and does the supernatural in a person, place, or thing.
Job 33:26 (KJV) “He shall pray unto God, and he will be favorable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.” When I think of Job and the suffering he went through, I don’t think of a face with joy.
Proverbs 11:24-25 TPT (Passion) “Generosity brings prosperity, but withholding from charity brings poverty. Those who live to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them, and the one who pours out his life to pour out blessings will be saturated with favor.”
Psalm 30:6-7 (TLB) “In my prosperity I said, ‘This is forever; nothing can stop me now! The Lord has shown me his favor. He has made me steady as a mountain.’ Then, Lord, you turned your face away from me and cut off your river of blessings.
Numbers 6:24-26 (NLT2) “May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.” This is a wonderful prayer to pray for your loved ones.
Exodus 33:17 (TLB) “And the Lord had replied to Moses, ‘Yes, I will do what you have asked, for you have certainly found favor with me, and you are my friend.’” What an exciting verse! When we are in the favor of God, He will not only do what we ask but we are His friend.
Exodus 33:13-15 (NIV) Moses also sought to hear from God. He climbed a mountain, fasted for forty days, and spoke to the Lord face to face.
Psalm 34:5 (NKJV) “They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.“
The faces of those who stand for God are radiant with joy. We are citizens of the Kingdom for God and marked for heaven. We should be some of the happiest people on the planet! The world should see an overflowing outpouring of joy in our attitudes and actions.
