1 Corinthians 11:3, NKJV “But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.”
Adam, in Genesis 3:1-6, should not have allowed Eve to continue her conversation with the devil. Are there some people you or your wife should not be spending time with?
How to know who the right people are in your life and your spouse’s life:
Do they motivate you to love God more?
Do they celebrate God’s blessings in your life?
Do they have your back?
Do they hold you accountable out of love and friendship?
Do they live what they believe?
Do they have the right people in their own lives?
2 Corinthians 6:14, NKJV “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?"
Proverbs 18:24, ESV “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
The Challenge
If your friends do not have God in the middle of their lives, you need to invite them out of your life. You will never have the fellowship with them that you need and want.
Will you replace wrong friends with right friends?
